3. LAGO DI RESIA

All that remains of the old town today is the bell tower of the ancient Romanesque church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, which rises above the waters of the lake and is one of the most evocative and photographed spots in the region, accessible on foot in winter when the lake freezes over. Legend has it that on some days you can hear the ringing of the bells, even though they were removed during the construction of the dam.

4. LAGO DI CALDARO
