Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel

The Almayer Art & Heritage Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the historical centre of Zadar in Croatia. The 4-star hotel is a family-run property with 13 rooms, nine in the main building and four in the annexe, surrounded by an attractive secret garden.

It is the perfect place to explore Zadar, a coastal town known for its Roman and Venetian ruins and surrounding walls.

The interior of the Almayer Art & Heritage has been designed by the owners with a combination of retro-chic and contemporary details, with an emphasis on natural materials.  It is visually lavish, truly eclectic and imbued with a cosmopolitan Mediterranean spirit, creating a sense of comfort.

In the main building, which dates back to 1863, there are nine exclusive rooms: four standard doubles and five deluxe doubles on two floors and are named after winds. 

The remaining four rooms in the annex building were opened in 2018 and are located on the first floor of the historic Bianchini building, built in 1914 near the Mali Arsenal, opposite the main hotel building, facing the park. The rooms are directly connected to the hotel reception and offer 24-hour staff service.

The Corte Vino & More restaurant is a place dedicated to experienced connoisseurs with a splendid offer and an atmosphere that changes gradually as the day goes by. The offer includes a luxurious and invigorating à la carte breakfast, a wide selection of drinks, cocktails and carefully selected wines that you can enjoy at any time of the day.
