Molino del Feo

Molino del Feo is a beautiful rural property of three hectares, at only one hour from Madrid and 15 to 20 minutes to the cute villages Sepulveda and Pedraza. There are two charming individual houses: the main house, a former water mill from the 19th century that is divided to two floors. The other house has been built later, in a simple and traditional design. Either you can rent both houses together or only the main house, however, to ensure privacy and tranquility, there will be only one group at the property at a time.

The main house consists of two floors and has many wooden constructions, such as pillars and beams that fill the house with a pleasant scent of wood. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms and a large bathroom. On the lower floor, you will find a cosy dining room, fully equipped kitchen and another bathroom. Two fireplaces make cooler nights cosier.

The other house is a former loom and now offers another two bedrooms with private bathroom each. There is also a small living room with a comfortable sofa bed. This house has no kitchen.

The houses feature radiant heating and excellent drinking water. The beds can be arranged as double or twin beds. The high quality bedding will ensure a relaxing night.

In the garden, you can refresh yourself in the small on-site natural pool. If you want more, there are bigger ones between 5 and 15 km from the Molino del Feo.

In the front garden, there is a covered dining area for 12-14 people where you can have lunch and dinner at warmer nights. In the back garden, there are some tables and benches accessible from the kitchen: they can hold 10-12 people and are the perfect breakfast spot. Both areas have lights at night.

The San Juan River, that surrounds the house, has abundant flow all year round, and flows below the house, which helps you to relax with the lulling sound of the water.

From the Finca, you enjoy splendid views to the mountains covered with juniper and oak tree forests. Here you are completely surrounded by pure nature. If you are lucky, there is a chance to observe wildlife. At night, you can admire at a sky full of stars.

Please keep in mind that due to its wonderful location in plain nature, Molino de San Juan belongs to the small percentage of Spain without 3G coverage. However, there is a good Wifi network (approx. 13 MB of speed) and a landline phone inside the house. In the upper part of the main house, there is 3G coverage.
