Blanco Riad

The inner courtyard of Blanco Riad dates from the XVIII century with very impressive columns and arches sustaining a balcony which gives access to the bedrooms. This is a historical place.

The garden is filled with the soothing sounds of water from the fountain and the roof terrace has some incredible views of the Medina and Casbah. In 1860 it housed the Spanish Consulate and during the times of the protectorate it was the house of the Bacha.

Later it was inhabited by the Ben Hassain family. Blanco Riad is located in the Medina of Tetouan, proclaimed “World Heritage" Site by UNESCO; it is a jewel of Muslim culture, with winding streets, beautiful squares, walls, alleys and narrow Riads hidden behind majestic gates . Blanco Riad is perfectly situated being only1 hour from Tangier, half an hour to Ceuta and 15 minutes from the beach, golf and marina.

Blanco Riad has 8 rooms: all quiet, cozy and bright. Each has its own bathroom or hammam and small spaces to enjoy. Fully equipped with television, Internet connection and laundry service. The restaurant has a capacity of between 40 and 60 people between the dining room and garden. It is a special and intimate place which offers a modern Moroccan cuisine.
