As they say, class is permanent and it shows all over this immaculate farmhouse. It is difficult to believe that this was once an abandoned and derelict shell of a building. Thankfully, the Count spent a lot of time, money and effort to transform it into what it is now: a combination of boutique style within a rustic setting mixed with sophistication. The atmosphere is so relaxing and rooms so few – five in all – that you almost feel you own the place during your stay here. At the very least, you are welcomed as a great friend, part of an exclusive inner circle of fortunate people.
Guests spend their time between crisp linen bedroom suites, poolside or roaring fires, depending on the season. Everything is possible here: perfect tranquillity or a vacation of activity including wine and cooking courses, yoga on the hilltop, horse riding and night treks or just simply discovering the medieval villages, which crown each of the surrounding hilltops, or the white beaches all along our coastline. History and nature marry here in conjugal bliss.

The 360 degree views are simply superb. The feeling is of peace and unity with nature, as eagles soar and swallows swoop overhead.
