Pousada Caminho do Rei

The history of the Pousada Caminho do Rei starts off back in the summer of 1984, when Paul and Monica went on a winding trek along the then totally deserted Praia do Rosa (Rose beach).
Upon reaching the top of a hill, faced with a spectacular view, and sitting on a rock, long moments were absorbed by the magnificent view and the seed was sown to do something special with these natural wonderful attributes.
And so the Pousada Caminho do Rei came about. This is a beautiful and peaceful spot at one with nature and offers likeminded travelers a haven of tranquility in an unpretentious setting.
The concern from the start was always to make this an organic sort of place, one that grows in accordance with the environment. What do we mean by this? Each cottage or suite that is added, is designed in such a way as to integrate perfectly with the environment and not undermine the privacy or views of the others.
The “raison d’etre” of Pousada Camninho do rei is tranquility, privacy and making the most of those views of Praia da Rosa, the most beautiful coastal area of Santa Catarina.
And this is what the Pousada Caminho dos Reis offers. Nothing to do with pretentiousness and everything to do with purity with all 9 units (and growing) being different yet offering guests that ocean front pleasure.
