Quinta da Donalda

Quinta da Donalda is a traditional Portuguese "Quinta" located in the Western Algarve and has been owned by the same family for over 360 years. Set on 92 hectares of land, it offers accommodation for up to 18 guests and remains a fully operational farm, with fresh produce available at the Portimão Municipal Market.

The property is divided into three buildings: the Liberal Wing, which is connected to the main Quinta building, is the largest of the three cottages and includes five ensuite bedrooms, one of which is wheelchair-accessible. The Bartolomeu and Daniel cottages are mirror images of each other, each accommodating 2-4 guests. All cottages feature fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. A shared swimming pool is also available for guests.

A delicious continental breakfast is served each morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., featuring fresh bread, homemade cakes and cookies, seasonal fruits, bread, eggs (upon request), yogurt, butter, ham, cheese, homemade jam, honey, tea, coffee, milk, and orange juice. Additionally, the resident staff is available to prepare extra meals on request for an additional cost.

As Quinta da Donalda is a working farm with agricultural equipment, young children should be supervised at all times.

The property’s location is ideal, offering easy access to some of the Algarve’s best beaches. The nearest airport is Faro, located 70 km away.
