Chateau de Villette

The enchanting Chateau de Villette was originally built in the 18th century as a holiday country house for the bishop of Autun and is surrounded by a 500 hectare property. Today Coen and Catherien live in the property with their children and share their accommodation with their guests from April to October.  The Bed&Breakfast has a romantic interior, a large garden with an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in all public areas. In the main house there is one family room and four double rooms. All of them are heated and have a sitting area with a garden view and a private bathroom. The property also has two self-catering cottages and a tennis court.

The continental breakfast is served on the terrace with the help of the family - fresh orange juice, bread and fruit are ideal to start the day and enjoy the first rays of sunshine. Upon request, the hosts will also spoil you with delicious meals, such as a 4-course gastronomic menu with excellent wine.

The B&B is located in the Morvan Regional Park, near Autun, an ancient Roman town built for Emperor Augustus. The archaeological site of Bibracte, which lies between Autun and Chateau de Villette, is an ideal destination for a day trip.

If you are a wine lover, this B&B is perfect for you! The Chateau de Vilette is surrounded by famous Burgundy wine villages like Mercurey, Volnay or Meursault. The city of Beaune, which lies 75 km away, is especially recommendable for its incredible gastronomic offerings.
