The Yellow House

The Yellow House is located in the gentle hills of the Serra de Monchique, in the most mountainous region of the Algarve. This peaceful retreat is not the typical destination people usually seek in the area, as it is 40 minutes away from the beaches. It is a serene place with stunning views, where the owners dedicated five years to its restoration, preserving the mark of its historical past while not compromising on comfort. The house is set on a property covering 3.3 hectares. Yellow House accommodates up to six people. It consists of the main house, and right next to it, there are two suites. The main house includes the master bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen, while each suite offers independent facilities, such as a bathroom with a shower.

The interior of Yellow House is cozy and functional. In the main living room, with high ceilings, there is a vintage sofa designed by Cini Boeri, accompanied by an Elle55 floor lamp by Tommaso Cimini. The warm atmosphere of the room is complemented by a wood burner and an underfloor heating system, ensuring comfort at all times. Additionally, each room is equipped with air conditioning, adapting to any season.

One of the standout features of the house is its attention to detail. In the main bathroom, a custom-made solid oak bathtub invites relaxation, while the eco-friendly products from the local brand 8950 Cosmetica care for the skin of guests. The property has three full bathrooms, all equipped with low-consumption rain showers, distributed across the various spaces, ensuring comfort for all guests.

The exterior is just as impressive. Several terraces, one with views of the vineyard and another with an outdoor dining area, allow guests to enjoy nature in its full splendour. In addition, in front of the house, there is a plunge pool, converted from an old irrigation tank, which has become one of the region's most iconic elements. Surrounding the pool is a garden with grass, sun loungers, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower, creating the perfect setting for relaxing in the sun.

The kitchen, fully equipped with high-end appliances, allows for preparing any type of meal, from a light breakfast to a dinner to share with family or friends. The ultra-fast Wi-Fi connection, thanks to Starlink, and the high-quality Bluesound sound system ensure that relaxation moments are accompanied by the best music or entertainment.

With a privileged location, Yellow House is situated in one of the most tranquil areas of the Algarve, ideal for those who want to enjoy nature without giving up comfort. Here, time seems to stand still, offering the opportunity to completely disconnect while enjoying a unique getaway that combines luxury, privacy, and sustainability.

There are two more houses on the estate, but each has its own space and pool with total privacy.
