Paço de Lanheses

Twenty minutes from Viana do Castelo, in the small parish Lanheses, you will come across this impressive 16th century manor house with a lot of history. It has been refurbished in the 18th century and includes its own chapel.

The building is nestled in an idyllic landscape on the banks of the Lima River. The extensive grounds with two lush gardens invite to spend much time outdoors and enjoy the landscape.

The property can be rented for exclusive use or in a bed & breakfast modality. The house consists of a two-bedroom apartment with a double bed and two single beds, two twin rooms, and one double room. The whole house accommodates up to 12 people.

The rooms feature private bathrooms, beautifully tiled with original Portuguese tiles. The apartment has one bathroom for both rooms. There are spacious and cosy living rooms, majestic halls and a shared kitchen for guest’s use.

Original objects and materials have been conserved in the antique furnishing of the rooms. In the garden, you will enjoy a beautiful swimming pool in a former granite tank of irrigation.
