Casa Grande do Bachao

Casa Grande do Bachao is a beautiful charming manor house located within a 100-hectare estate. The house itself dates back to the 18th century and consists of two separate buildings: the Casa Grande and the Caseros, as well as a typical granary. The restoration work on the buildings has kept many of the original features including the stone walls, wooden beams and fireplaces in both houses. All rooms are en suite, spacious and uniquely decorated with traditional materials. 

An outdoor pool provides the perfect escape from the Galician heat. Upon request, a vast range of activities can be organized such as rafting, fishing, cycling, horse riding and nature hikes. Guided trips to Santiago to Compostela are also available.  

Casa Grande do Bachao’s secluded rural location provides guests with complete tranquility whilst at the same time only being a 15 minute drive away from Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia.
