Built in 1730, the estate is situated in the beautiful Allgäu region on a sun-drenched clearing, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. With finesse and an eye for detail, the Hohenegg estate has been brought into the present day. Tradition and character have been preserved, emphasised and enhanced with modern architecture. Carefully selected luxuries, warm colours and elegant design create a cosy atmosphere in which to relax. In harmony with nature, authentic and precious materials such as loden, leather, wood and stone transform the Shingle House and its three rooms, "Wipfelglück", "Waldblick" and "Heuboden", into retreats with a special charm. The property offers four wonderfully distinct vacation apartments:

1. “Schindelhaus”

The Schindelhaus is the origin and heart of the Hohenegg estate with its almost 300-year history. Rustic cosiness in the "d'Kucha" with low ceilings and old thatched walls meets modern architecture in the living room with its exposed roof structure and views through the glazed loggia. A large bathroom and superb sleeping comfort ensure perfect relaxation for up to 8 people.

2. "Waldblick"

The Waldblick room impresses with its glazed loggia and a splendid view of the landscape. A home with select luxury and a wonderful sense of freedom for up to 6 people.

3. “Heuboden”

Located on the ground floor of the Remise, the Heuboden offers plenty of space for up to 5 people. Whether in front of the crackling fire, at the old tavern table or outside on the large terrace, everyone will find their favourite spot!

4. "Wipfelglück"

In the converted attic of the Remise you'll find the Treetop Bliss room. A romantic retreat for intimate togetherness with the special charm of pitched roofs and wooden beams. Designed like a loft, the Wipfelglück (Tree Leaf Happiness) room offers stunning views across the clearing towards Lake Constance.
