Excellent value for money Florence hotel.
The Johanna is that rare combination of a place to stay. 15 minute walk to the town centre of one of the world’s most beautiful cities, great ambience and an excellent price to boot. This really is tremendous value for money and so successful has the Johanna concept become that four more hotels where opened. The Johanna offers quiet, friendly and spacious accommodation. Residenza Johanna I is located in a 19th century building a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the foyer is on the third floor. Bedrooms are all individually decorated in Tuscan style and furnished with antique furniture.
There are books and guides, light, airy, sunny and comfortable rooms, and charming staff, who offer unobtrusive, informative assistance to guests about places to see and things to do. Please note, however, that in both the Johannas staff leave at 7 – guests are given the keys to the house and room. All in all, a lovely atmosphere and very reasonable prices, staying in Residence Johanna will make a visit to that most beautiful of cities, Florence, a memorable, and cheaper, delight.

Es un alojamiento magnífico, bien situado por su cercanía al centro,pero lo suficientemente lejos para huir del bullicio del turismo incontrolado, la habitación no tiene lujos pero tiene todo lo suficiente y la limpieza es extrema, algo que valoro sobre todo lo demás, el trato muy amable y cordial, facilitando todo lo necesario, el desayuno es muy correcto, el lugar tiene mucha luz y es encantador, aunque si he de poner un pero, el primer día de los dos que estuvimos alojados, empezaron a retirarlo a las 9,35h mientras nos estábamos sirviendo cuando el periodo de desayuno era de 8 a 10h, el segundo día esto no ocurrió y la calidad del producto fue magnífica. ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE con un precio que aumenta la valoración de CALIDAD-PRECIO A MAXIMOS, si volvemos será sin duda al JOHANNA I.

Great place in a calm area of town, but still very close to everything. Rooms were tidy and the service fantastic. Could highly recommend it.

What an excellent place to stay in Florence. Its prime location coupled with the warm hospitality by the staff makes it an unforgettable place to stay. We really had an excellent time and we will certainly be back. The hotel had a great character and the decoration was second to none.

Grosszügig mit Charme!

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, sympathisches kleines Hotel mit allem Komfort. Nicht an allerbester Lage, aber in schöner Seitengasse, 10 bis 15 Gehminuten vom Dom entfernt. Sehr charmantes, superfreundliches Hotelpersonal, das mit Tipps zur Stadterkundung und Annehmlichkeiten wie Bereitstellung von kostenlosem Kuchen, Tee, Kaffee etc. nicht geizt.
