Palazzina Apartment is a vacation rental in the form of a charming and antique 18th century Puglian townhouse. This one has a modern touch and is tastefully furnished with designer pieces. It is close to the main square in Fasano and has a beautiful roof terrace with views of the Mediterranean sea.

Here, you will discover an eclectic atmosphere. The traditional floors and walls offer all the layers and history of the original house but are combined with modern designer furniture, vintage lamps, as well as photography and art. 

And what better way of exploring Italy’s heel while living in a small Mediterranean city?

Upon arrival, the first thing you notice are the stairs that take you to the first floor, which has a living room with a very high ceiling, as well as a large kitchen and dining area. A few more stairs than lead to a very nice balcony that looks out toward the sea. Yet a few more stairs go up to the bedroom with its open bathroom divided by glass. There’s a double bed and some extra beds that can be added if needed. Finally, with a few more steps, you come to the terrace with the beautiful sea view. It has an outdoor shower and is simply the perfect spot to relax.

The kitchen is fully equipped. A interesting touch is that cooks can come to the house and prepare local dishes upon request. Otherwise you can purchase groceries at the market in town and bring them back to cook at your leisure and have a romantic dinner on the balcony or the roof.  The kitchen can also be stocked before arrival on request.

The townhouse is ideal for guests who value independence. Caroline, the owner, wanted to provide a space to relax and rejuvenate which is why she decided against adding a TV to the house. The townhouse does have WiFi, however it might not be strong enough for a work connection. 

It is perfect for couples as a really romantic hideaway within the city or even for small families. As you might have gathered, the house does have a lot of stairs, which might make it difficult for smaller children or anyone with mobility issues.
