Quinta dos Perfumes

Quinta dos Perfumes is located in the Eastern Algarve, near the town of Tavira and along the adjacent towns of Conceição and Cabanas, and incorporated into Pre-Park of Ria Formosa. The name Quinta dos Perfumes was given due to the fact that, in the sixties, in this countryside has worked a factory of mallow flowers distillation to obtain essences for the manufacture of perfumes.

This tourism project is set in a farm of thirty-six acres, where the prevailing produce comes from the citrus orchard. There are also other smaller plantations, such as arbutus, lemon walnut, fig and carob. The farm, which is fenced, has a great location, bordered on the north by EN 125 and is located approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the towns of Conceição and Cabanas de Tavira, as well as their Paradise Island. Located near three golf courses (Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Quinta de Benamor), it is adjacent to the eco-route and one of the Iberian pilgrimage routes of Caminho de Santiago. 

Quinta dos Perfumes has six bedrooms, five suites and a very bright double room because of it prime sun exposure, with terrace and decorated in a minimalist style, blending ancient and modern elements, trying to create an environment of comfort and commodity. All rooms have private bathrooms, bathrobes, and hair dryers. Television, Air conditioner, Wireless and Safety Deposit Box. The suites are very spacious (30m2) and have a 'kitchenette”, fridge and mini-bar service. We also have a room and accessibility for guests with limited mobility.

A small fly in the ointment. A railway track runs through the plantation and close to the hotel car park. The suburban train runs in the morning and less frequently during the day and not at all at night. In the rooms that are not in the main house, you supposedly cannot hear the train.
