Casa Mimosa: an idyllic holiday dream in white

When you enter Casa Mimosa, you will walk through light-flooded rooms where the sunlight shimmers through the elegant white curtains on the windows and reflects in the sparkling pool. This beautiful apartment is your next temporary home. 

The villa is located on the edge of Possanco, just 5 minutes from Comporta. The location at the end of a quiet road gives you the idyllic feeling of seclusion with a marvellous view of the green countryside. This closeness to nature is also carried by the beautifully planted sand garden that grows around the refreshing pool. 

Casa Mimosa accommodates up to eight people in four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The open-plan dining area with a fully equipped kitchen flows into the cosy living area. From there you can directly access the beautiful wooden terrace. Some rooms also have direct access to the outdoor area, where the heated pool with its cooling water awaits you. 

However, the house is not only ideal for summer, but is also suitable for a stay in winter, autumn and spring thanks to the central heating system and underfloor heating throughout the flat. 

A private housekeeper comes to the house every morning for four hours to clean and cook if required. The exact times and tasks can be discussed before your stay.

Two cars can be parked on the property. Outside the accommodation on the street there are further parking spaces if required. 

The style of the flat is hard to summarise in one word. Even if you can speak of a typical "Comporta style" in general, the owners have given this accommodation a very cosmopolitan look. The decoration comes from different corners of the world: from traditional Portuguese tiles to oriental carpets and African wickerwork - there is something to discover in every corner of this house. Great care is taken to ensure outstanding quality. You will not find mass-produced items here. 

However, the house is not only suitable for design lovers, but also offers something for nature enthusiasts as well as those interested in culture: a complete package with the right thing for everyone. 

The town of Comporta is within walking distance (1.5 km), alternatively bicycles can be rented. You can get a snack along the way at the Gulato Lab ice cream parlour. The old fishing town is located south of Lisbon and has become more and more interesting for tourists over the last decade. There are chic restaurants in the town or on the nearby beach, small shops and nice bars. The beaches in the area are largely unspoilt and are perfect for a swim. 

15 minutes by car to the north of Comporta is Troia on a peninsula. There you can stroll through the marina, visit a casino, book boat trips for dolphin watching, explore the Roman ruins or take the ferry to Setubal. In any case, there's never a dull moment here.
