Pergola House

The beautiful Mediterranean style mansion that is now a charming B&B is located right in the centre of Cascais. Almost everyone that passes by stops to admire both the beautiful facade, adorned as it is with lovely hand painted tiles, and a garden that has flowers all year round. The end results is a real eye catcher making this house one of the most photographed in Cascais. The interior is somewhat more austere and intense.

The walls are in part made up of typically small Portuguese tiles, oil paintings and watercolours as well as other artifacts. The wooden floors are covered with “Arraiolos” and Persian carpets. As for the rooms and corridors these have been decorated in a l’époque – including walls with strong colours and "bas relief" stucco ceilings. The end result is a unique house with a singular atmosphere right in the centre of one of Portugal’s most sophisticated resorts.

A final note: the Casa da Pérgola is not able to accept credit cards and asks for notification of time of arrival.
