La Villa Barca

High above the valley forests bordering the endless Ligurian mountains, the magnificent mansion, “La Barca,” was built by a squire and the royal attorney at the end of the 18th century. Even though mules are no longer used to access this special place as in the old days, the destination still promises solitude and a deep connection with nature. Presently, the most beautiful parts of the villa make up the three special suites of the B&B, “Casa Carpe Diem,” offering you a true and historic Ligurian experience. Each suite provides the opportunity to leave your everyday life behind and enjoy peace and tranquility without giving up modern amenities and comfort. Relaxation with a view: That’s what the guests can expect in the tranquil Wellness area. Whether dozing in the sun, taking a refreshing footbath, an energizing shower in our grotto, or soaking in the plunge pool - you will always enjoy commanding views of the valley down to the Mediterranean sea. A perfect place to just enjoy life and let go. For colder days a Finnish sauna along with some herbal infusions will make you feel revived and rejuvenated.
