If you're looking for a peaceful getaway then this is most definitely the place for you. Located within its own 7 hectares of gardens and woodlands, the beautiful Manoir de Jouralem and chapel are in the most idyllic part of the French countryside. The lovely home features a natural swimming pool and BBQ/picnic area for hotter summer days and your host Hywel can even rustle you up a picnic basket, complete with all of your picnic favourites.
Staying at Manoir de Jouralem, really has a family feel. There are books, DVDs, and board games available for little ones and pets are welcome to stay with you too! Your fellow guests and hosts will quickly become great friends as you share dinner together at the Table d´hôte after a long day out or relax on the plush sofas in the double height salon with a cappuccino in hand. If you fancy exploring the area then there are plenty of beautiful places to visit on the free rental bikes offered by the B&B. There are also lots of quaint bistros and authentic restaurants within cycling distance or a short drive away. If you fancy something a bit, well, fancier, then there are 5 Michelin-starred restaurants within a 50km radius. Don't forget to visit the Brissac-Quincé chateau whilst out and about as it's the tallest in France!
After a day full of activities, good food and company, you'll love to come back to your cosy room, complete with fresh cut flowers, an in-room larder with a selection of teas and fresh milk, and a quiet ambiance to allow you to get the best night's sleep. Mel and Hywel look forward to welcoming you into their home and making your stay as comfortable as possible.
