Monte do Olival

Monte do Olival is a farm surrounded by olive trees and located 7 kilometers from Alcácer do Sal, a white village along the Sado River. Located in the middle of nature, it is a peaceful area with olive trees and large nests where storks raise their young.

In Monte do Olival, there are three houses and one room that share a swimming pool and the panoramic view of the countryside.

The houses include:

Casa da Oliveira offers a double room with a large window and a bathroom with a shower. Living room with large sofa and salamander opens to a private patio with table and chairs. There is a kitchen equipped with dishes, utensils, and appliances

Both Casa do Alecrim and Casa do Rosmaninho are similar, each has two rooms, one double and one on a mezzanine, which is ideal for 2 children.

In the Figueiras room, you will only be able to accommodate a couple, since it consists of a double bed and a bathroom with a shower.

The decoration combines traditional elements with a bohemian chic style characterized by simple lines and pastel colors.

The Finca was inaugurated in 2021 and is located 20 minutes driving from Comporta, one of Portugal's most fashionable areas.

During the summer months, there is no better way to cool off than by gazing at the lush rice fields, swimming in the pool overlooking the countryside, and enjoying the long beaches of the region. With temperatures still pleasant in autumn, the countryside is dyed green and the smells are more intense. In the winter, it is ideal for walking in the cork oak forests located just a short distance away. In addition, it is ideal for sipping a glass of Alentejo wine in front of the fireplace. During spring, we can see a tapestry of beautiful flowers in a variety of colors, and we can enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean.

As well as tasty restaurants with typical Alentejo regional cuisine, you can also find other specialties nearby as well as stores with everything you need for a full refrigerator. A one-hour drive will take you to Lisbon airport.

The area is ideal for biking along the marked trails or walking. In the winter there are organized boat rides on the Sado River and horseback riding along the beach. There are Amanitas and Boletos available in November for mushroom lovers.
