Casa Azul do Olival

With love for Alentejo - this is the motto of Maria Antónia's family, who has created a wonderful temporary country home in Alcácer do Sal.

Peaceful and idyllic and only a few kilometres from the nearest beach, Casa Azul do Olival invites you to a relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal. This charming cozy house is the centre of Alcácer do Sal and close to the river Sado and the castle.

The so-called blue house "Casa Azul" is inspired by the soothing colours of the sea and the sky and the calm sand and earth tones that surround the house. This ambience is reflected in the lovingly selected furniture, window frames and decoration. You feel right at home here. The old dark wooden floor has been replaced by white concrete and the wooden ceilings have been painted white, so that as much daylight as possible enters the house and illuminates all the rooms in the best possible way. The holiday home has one bedroom, one bathroom and a spacious kitchen-living room with dining area and sofa.

A holiday in the unspoilt countryside of the Alentejo is a good idea all year round. In spring, the cornfields shine with bright blue and yellow flowers, in the hot summer, you will be refreshed by the green rice fields and the nearby beach. In autumn the land turns golden and in winter it's time to light the fire and watch the rain.
