All rooms are rustic in décor, with wooden or tiled floors and wooden beams. The original house was built hundreds of years ago and has been restored and adapted for use as a small country hotel. The works were carried out with great care and creativity. Many original features have been maintained, so that today the property still has the air of a historical Andalusian manor house, now open for all to enjoy.

The Cortijo del Marqués offers guests various indoor spaces to sit down and read, eat and drink or just relax and watch the day go by. Large arched glass doors, a high wooden ceiling and two fireplaces characterize the large dining room and lounge area with sophisticated Chesterfield sofas. In summer, the glass doors can be fully opened to create a semi-outdoor ambiance. The downstairs lobby is light and cool, which makes it the perfect spot to flick through a magazine and watch the goings-on of the hotel.

The breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant and comes with a wide selection of local and international breakfast options. At lunchtime, you will find a small card with tapas specialties, salads and sandwiches for you to enjoy a varied and freshly prepared lunch. In the evening, a fabulous dinner is served. The chef buys the ingredients he needs in the wholesale market himself on an as need basis daily, and thereby ensures the freshness of the products used in preparing the meals. Whenever possible, organic vegetables and fruits from the nearest plantations, as well as local meat and fish are used.

The Cortijo is situated 18 kilometres to the north of Granada, between the Sierra del Pozuelo and the Sierra Arana, offering beautiful views of both Mountain ranges and the Sierra Nevada.
