Walk to Calhetas Beach
A 15 min walk from the Hotel(Hotel Reception)Hidden behind the hill and with restricted access, this beach is one of the most beautiful of the North Coastline. It is surprising for any visitor, even the most well-traveled. Little frequented it is normally deserted. Its waters are clear and calm most of the year.
In a special report, the Diving Magazine (Revista Mergulho) of January 2007, classified this beach as one of the 10 best Brazilian places for diving. Its special formation makes it look at the same time like both beach and island.
From the tip top of its peninsula it is possible to see an unforgettable sunset. In the way to the beach there is a 90 mts waterfall where you can freshen yourself up after a delicious sea bath. rnrnThe Hotel is locates 150 mts from the Calhetas beach access. It is a short 15-minute walk down to the beach.

Ilha de Toque Toque Jazz festival
Ilha de Toque Toque Boutique Hotel(55 12 3864-9110)The Toque Toque Grande beach at the São Paulo northern coast will be the route of contemporary jazz on the weekends of June 2011. Every Saturday of the month, in an atmosphere that mixes mountain and sea, some of today's musicians and performers will present a soundtrack of the best quality to guests of the Ilha de Toque Toque Boutique Hotel.rnrnIt will be part of the Festival whose curator is Glauber Amaral, musical producer from Barraventoartes, company responsible for the festival along with the hotel: Fabiano de Castro, Elizabeth Woolley, Lanny Gordin and Yaniel Matos. rnrnThe artists will present a mix of styles and musical trends, forming a panel of what is of most important in the contemporary jazz scene in Brazil.rnAn exclusive event for a few privileged VIPS, who will be able to listen to the quality music in a cozy ambient amid the nature.
