This is a place we strongly recommend if you want to combine wonderful nature and great food with proximity to Istanbul.

The Lavanda Hotel is actually located in the village of Ulupelt, a sub district of Sile, and some 45 minutes from the great city itself.

It combines other things too. Namely, being a professional boutique hotel and still an intimate family run accommodation at the same time. The owner’s love and affection for the place is always evident.

This is no more so than in the restaurant where the owner’s son is head chef and conjures up some mouthwatering Mediterranean and local cuisine all to be eaten in a beautiful dining room.

Talking of beautiful the nine room Lavanda Hotel is set within a 17000 square meter garden. To lose those calories in the dining room, perhaps guests can explore said garden or the beautiful natural area beyond.

Alternatively one can let off steam, literally, in the spa and wellness center which offers a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and relaxation areas.
