Each accommodation is renovated with respect to local tradition and materials, while still being tastefully and individually designed to ensure a unique and charming stay. All of them feature a modern kitchen and bathrooms, linen and cookware. The houses are not equipped with phones, TV or air-conditioning, though fans are provided when needed. This peaceful farm will enable you to disconnect from the stress of daily life and reconnect with nature.

For those who want to try out activities, there are plenty of options. Barbialla Nuova offers guided walks, cooking classes and white truffle hunting. It is also a perfect place for kids as they can play freely on the farm and let their imagination grow with all of the nature surrounding them.

The farm is based on the classic Tuscan custom of holding the land in deep respect. Certified organic for more than 20 years, no chemicals are used, and the farm holds the well-being of both animals and the land in the highest regard. Organic Chianina meat is produced, which is sold in the short-chain restaurant in Florence (Le Lune Ristorante nel Vivaio, olive oil, honey and white truffles.)

Fabulous Farm Stay

We absolutely loved our few days in the Tuscan countryside at Barbialla. The accommodation perfectly balances luxury with a rustic and authentic farm stay experience. Some of our highlights were walks on the well-mapped trails around the farmland, buying fresh eggs from the farm shop for breakfast, and seeing the huge Chianina cows! The location was ideal for our stay – it seemed remote and peaceful, but there were still some great local restaurants within a short drive for dining out, and it was close enough to manage a day trip to Florence.

tolle, alte restaurierte Wohnungen mit viel Charme und Ausstrahlung. Die Umgebung ein Traum. Küche ist ganz gut ausgestattet aber es gibt Verbesserungspotential. Wenn man als Paar reist sollte man wissen, dass es keinen Schallschutz gibt. Wir hatten Doderi Est gebucht, sind aber am nächsten Tag umgezogen nach Brentina Est,; nebenan ist die Wohnung mit integrierter Holztreppe; wir haben jeden Schritt und auch die Stimmen gehört. Erdgeschoss ist nicht empfehlenswert, wenn man Geräuschempfindlich ist; Wir werden das nächste Mal Ovile buchen, da es ein Loft ohne Wohnung nebenan oder darüber gibt. Mobilfunk schlecht, W-Lan ganz ok. Dafür Aufenthalt out of nowwhere. Jeden Tag ab morgens 7Uhr Schüsse in der nächsten Umgebung (Tauben und Hasenjagd). Montaione nächst grössere Stadt auch super schön und sehr schnell zu erreichen. Wir haben Francesco, Ilaria und Frank kennen gelernt, wunderbare Menschen. Sie haben ein booklet mit den wichtigsten Informationen sehr anschaulich und hilfreich zusammengestellt, so dass man sich sofort zurechtfindet. Wir vermissen die wilde Toskana schon jetzt
