As for the Agriturismo I Freschi, it is made up of eight lodgings - all unique and original – and oozing charm with their wooden beams and ceilings, thick stone walls, arches, vaults, nook and crannies.

Even the Furniture has been specifically chosen, for possessing something unique. Many pieces are family heirlooms or have been discovered in local markets and restored to their previous glory. So, not a single mass produced item in sight.

It’s this sort of uniqueness that helps make the Agriturismo I Freschi a special place to stay.

I GRILLI

One room ground floor apartment, with a portico area leading up to the entrance, and no steps. The layout makes it accessible for people with physical disabilities, and the open living area makes it easy to get around. The bathroom has been outfitted with the same purpose in mind. However, it is still advisable to request further information for specific, individual needs. Living area includes a kitchenette, dining table, and armchair, while a large piece of furniture with shelving and a built-in wardrobe offers discretion, screening off the sleeping area, which plays host to a double bed. Two large glass doors overlook the olive groves and landscaped area below, which can be reached via stone steps leading down from the apartment. The garden has a furnished sitting area perfect for dining or relaxing outdoors.

LO SCOGLIO

40 m²

Located on the ground floor. In front of the entrance, there is a small landscaped area and a long balcony that plays host to a lounger, a table and chairs to allow you to spend time al fresco. Once you have come through the front door, you will find yourself facing the large rock that gives the house both its name and its color, since it occupies almost an entire wall of the living room. Positioned in front of the rock is a sofa-bed (1m wide). To the left of the front door there is an armchair, whereas to the right there is a stone arch that frames the window under which you will find the kitchenette with its old marble sink. The dining table is located next to the kitchenette. The hallway provides access not only to an alcove with a wardrobe but also to the bathroom (with shower), which is filled with sunlight for most of the day, and to the bedroom with its double bed, to which a cot can easily be added.

IL FORNO

A small patio shaded by a large umbrella and furnished with a table and chairs makes up the area lying just outside the entrance to IL FORNO, which can barely be made out from the exterior. The interior of the accommodation is full of surprises, with charming nooks and crannies. The entrance / sitting room has a wardrobe and an armchair with pull-out single bed; to the immediate left, one can find a truly original bathroom featuring a shower made of custom-designed waxed concrete. A bit further on and off to the right, the sitting room leads to a romantic little “alcove” with an exposed-stone, vaulted ceiling and a wall niche which was actually the mouth of a brick oven in ages past. As you enter the living quarters, you will find the dining area and kitchenette with an antique marble sink. An archway made of exposed stone and brick was uncovered during restoration and serves as a divider sectioning off the living room, which is furnished with a chest of drawers and a couch with a large fold-out bed. The window provides a picturesque view over the lush green hillside.

IL CAPPERO

Lying just outside the front door of IL CAPPERO is a small garden enclosed by stone benches and other furniture for outdoor leisure, including a table and chairs for open-air dining. During the summer, the age-old caper bush delineates the area, stretching out its blooming branches. As you enter, there is a sitting room where you can find a couch with a fold-out single bed, a desk and a wardrobe; a thick wall separates this section from the kitchen area, which includes a fully-equipped counter, dining table, and armchair with a pull-out single bed. The bathroom, which features a shower built into a niche in the wall, is bright and cheery with sunlight pouring in from the window overlooking the lush green hillside. A steep, lime-green, wooden staircase leads to the loft, where one can find a double bed set against a long shelf at the base of a sloped ceiling with lavender-colored beams– the perfect mix to create a fresh, romantic ambience.

Intimate one-room apartment located on the first floor. The kitchenette with its wooden worktop is located to the left of the entrance, with the dining table in front and, to the side, the kitchen cabinet, which partially screens off the sleeping area.The old bed with its iron curls is extremely comfortable for one person (it is 110cm wide) and is opposite the double bed (which is 140cm wide). The right-hand side of the large, light-filled window plays host to the armchair and the TV set. A wardrobe is located in the hall, which also provides access to the bathroom with shower. Via an external staircase, you can access the terrace, which affords a panoramic view of the whole of Borgo Freschi, taking in the hills, the valley and the sea. The terrace comes complete with chairs and a table, as well as loungers and a parasol.
